Role Summary:
As a Culinary Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children enrolled at our center. You will ensure that all food items are ready and served at designated times, adhering to the approved menu while following proper health and safety protocols. Compliance with federal CACFP standards will be a key aspect of your role, where applicable. Additionally, you may be required to assist in classrooms as needed.
Once your kitchen duties are completed, you will also provide support in classrooms, stepping in to give breaks or assist in closing down a classroom.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must fulfill state licensing criteria regarding education and experience
  • Willingness to undergo training for food service certification
  • Ability to be trained in CPR, Fire Safety, and Nutrition
  • Must meet state background check standards
  • Experience in childcare and educational settings
