Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing patient care under the supervision of our Registered Nurses. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with activities of daily living, performing basic patient care activities, and contributing to the strength of our Team Medicine approach.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with bathing, grooming, feeding, and basic hygiene
  • Perform vital signs, observation, and reporting of signs and symptoms of disease state
  • Assist with patient mobility, including ambulating, turning, positioning, and range of motion exercises
  • Perform EKGs and bedside testing, such as blood glucose and colon screening
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or Licensed Practical Nursing program required
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or LPN with the Washington State Nursing Commission
  • Current healthcare provider American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
