Pediatric Registered Nurse Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Kids Care Home Health. As a home healthcare professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each child.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Document timely, clear, concise, and accurate clinical notes in accordance with the plan of care.
  • Notify the RN Case Manager of any changes in the patient's condition.
  • Provide and document education to patients and their families on specific details of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure that patients are receiving quality care, necessary to achieve, and exceed individual goals.
  • Use appropriate infection control procedures and safety measures.
  • Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Current State Registered Nursing License or compact license where applicable.
  • One (1) Year Home Health Experience.
  • One (1) Year Pediatric Experience.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Reliable Transportation.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Working Conditions

This role requires standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Regularly push and pull 50 pounds, support 50 pounds of weight, and lift 50 pounds. See information up to 24 inches away.
