Power Plant Operations Technician

We're seeking a skilled Power Plant Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining all mechanical, I/C, and electrical equipment to support plant operations and maximize asset value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining turbines, generators, pumps, scrubber plants, industrial wastewater treatment plants, boilers, motors, combustion turbines, and associated auxiliary equipment.
- Performing predictive/preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Developing and implementing operating procedures to ensure consistent and safe operation of plant equipment.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Requirements include:
- Associate's degree in Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology, or Electronics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 18 months of trade or technical training in Power Plant Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Electrical background and knowledge of PLC's, Ovation, and GE Mark 6 Digital Controls Systems.
- Ability to work in a power plant environment that includes climbing and walking long distances.
