Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical tax, analytical, operational, management, and client service skills to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, demonstrating knowledge of industry trends and identifying client issues and conflicts.
  • Manage staff on engagement deliverables, complete technical and strategic reviews, and ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Review complex tax returns, including federal and multi-state tax returns.
  • Understand clients' organizations, procedures, and internal policies.
  • Provide clients with recommendations and guidance on how to achieve their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Research tax issues and provide guidance to clients.
  • Work closely with staff, and assist senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
  • Foster a team environment and demonstrate support of management and decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 6 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
  • 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Active CPA or equivalent certification.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel based on client and business needs.
  • Proficient use of applicable technology.
