Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team at UCHealth. As a critical care nurse, you will provide top-notch patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care in a technically complex environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in ICU or PCU settings, utilizing AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and quality care.
• Participate in precepting new nurses and contributing to the development of the team.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based care models.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
