Adjunct Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Speech Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As an Adjunct Professor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Speech and Communications, maintaining records of student academic progress, and evaluating student achievement.

• Teach face-to-face and online courses in Speech and Communications
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress
• Evaluate student achievement and assign grades
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage students
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve teaching methods

• Master's degree in Speech and/or Communications with 18 graduate hours in the field
• Teaching experience in a community college or higher education setting
• Ability to use a variety of active and collaborative learning strategies
• Experience implementing innovative assessments to measure student learning
• Regular professional development in teaching and the discipline
