Job Overview

Snakorpio Group Inc. is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to spearhead our teams and deliver innovative solutions from design through development, deployment, and operational support across existing and expanding regions.

We're looking for a visionary leader to modernize the design and development of our globally used point of sale system, driving growth and excellence in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead 2-3 scrum teams of 6-8 engineers, managing deliverables, execution, and career growth through mentoring and coaching.
  • Manage teams in multiple geographical locations, fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Provide inspiration and guidance to the growing team, helping individuals grow professionally and technically.
  • Ensure end-to-end delivery of features, balancing efficiency and technical challenge.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, Quality, Operations, and Customer Support.
  • Define roadmaps and schedules, delivering high-quality solutions for our clients and partners.
  • Drive technical quality by leading architectural decisions and code reviews.
  • Participate in bug triage meetings and prioritize bugs raised from internal and external customers.
  • Partner with HR in identifying and onboarding engineering talent.
  • Review technical designs and delivery of high-quality architecture.
  • Assess risks based on product complexity, resource, and/or timeline constraints.
  • Maintain relationships with internal & external partners during implementation.
  • Establish department standards and procedures, recommending efficient implementation practices.
  • Display strong verbal and written communication, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, related discipline in Computer Science and/or Engineering preferred.
  • Experience building customer-facing applications.
  • Hands-on Java development experience building high-throughput/low-latency APIs.
  • 25+ years of experience as a People Leader managing small to midsize teams.
  • Payment tech industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with backend/web application development.
  • Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
  • Building distributed, service-oriented, microservices-style, and cloud-based application architectures.
