Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse Supervisor is a vital caregiver who employs the nursing process to oversee and deliver patient care to a designated group.

  • Demonstrates consistent proficiency, adherence to regulations, and precise documentation throughout care delivery, aligning with the Nurse Practice Act and institutional policies.
  • Effectively addresses the needs of patients and their families while executing department-specific tasks with exceptional organizational skills and fiscal responsibility.
  • Provides outstanding customer service, promotes teamwork, and communicates effectively using established communication protocols during all job-related interactions.
  • Continuously evaluates assessment data to develop a comprehensive clinical picture, utilizing supervisory skills and the nursing process to proactively deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contributes to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for both staff and patients.
  • Engages in ongoing professional development, participates in professional organizations, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives that foster personal and institutional advancement.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid Texas RN License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
