We are currently hiring a Project Support/Administration in LaBella's Program Management Services Division.

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Our team is established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

Duties

  • Perform detailed reviews of existing protection schemes to ensure they align with new designs, focusing on anti-islanding schemes, generator intertie settings, SPS schemes, and other unique areas. This ensures that required protections are not removed or modified unnecessarily.
  • Lead overall protection design for all capital projects, defining relay protection functionality and schemes in accordance with AVANGRID standards.
  • Review contractor-provided relay settings, logic diagrams, and operational descriptions for all capital projects to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assess area relay coordination requirements based on changes in fault duty and system performance due to project changes.
  • Examine contractor-provided relay settings for temporary builds and construction sequence steps, including mobile settings.
  • Provide input on Owner's Aspen model changes as needed for individual capital projects.
  • Support implementation, testing, and commissioning of protection systems.
  • Collaborate with the Owner to refine their design practices and TM standards.
  • Maintain accurate as-built documentation in the plant filing location.
  • Oversee automation and integration design for all capital projects.
  • Review and design SCADA point indexes.
  • Review contractor-provided HMI screens/settings for all capital projects.
  • Design protection settings and settings basis.
  • Review and design IED Data Maps.
  • Create substation-level operational descriptions, including HMI operation and relay front panel operation.
  • Analyze automated maintenance data gathering (Digital Substation Data) point lists.
  • Track necessary licenses and key automation and integration deliverables for project implementation.
  • Support implementation, testing, and commissioning of automation and integration systems.
  • Perform constructability reviews to ensure adequate automation and integration coverage during outages.
