Behavioral Health Specialist

TrueCare is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Consultant to join our primary care treatment team. This individual will play a vital role in identifying, triaging, and managing primary care patients with medical and behavioral health issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide skill training through psycho-education and patient education strategies.
- Develop specific behavioral/therapeutic treatment plans for patients.
- Assist primary health care providers in recognizing and treating mental disorders and psychosocial problems.
- Detect 'at risk' patients and assess the clinical status of patients referred by the primary care provider.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or PhD/PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program.
- Licensed in California as an LCSW, Psychologist, LMFT, LPCC.
- At least two years' experience providing psychotherapy with children, adults, and adolescents.
- Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
