We are currently seeking applications to establish an employment list for full-time, part-time, and extra help Recovery Assistant positions across various locations. The selected candidate may be required to travel between different sites within the operational area.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, the role involves assisting professional staff in delivering mental health, medical, and community services to individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness.

Incumbents will collaborate within interdisciplinary teams and/or contract service agencies to provide assessment, prevention, intervention, treatment, and ancillary support services to individuals with substance use disorders, mental health issues, and co-occurring conditions.

The ideal candidate will assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and documenting individualized care for clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Responsibilities include direct client care, administrative coordination, and support of behavioral health activities.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience or personal connection with individuals facing behavioral health challenges.
  • Ability to establish rapport and trust with clients through shared experiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Competence in documenting client interactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
