We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our pediatric patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
Responsibilities- Assist with patient care activities, such as vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
