Mechanical Integration Specialist

The Mechanical Integrator plays a crucial role in our heavy equipment assembly process, working as part of a team that specializes in Tank Prep, Engine Prep, and/or Engine Finish. This role involves integrating encasements that hold large backup power generators, allowing our clients to maintain business operations during power outages. We receive diesel turbine generators and build custom, fully integrated housing units tailored to meet specific customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Install generator exhaust piping, fuel lines, air lines, and hydraulic lines.
- Install fuel-related components, including air tubes, air breathers/heat shields, shunt lines, fuel polishers, dosing systems, urea supply systems, urea tanks, and urea tank insulation.
- Install generator-related components, such as isolators, battery racks, power control boxes, engine rails, and oil/water/air compressor drain lines.
- Prepare and install radiator components, including coolant lines, radiator brackets, and filling with coolant.
- Integrate unit housing and generator with tank, including bolting down the generator and housing unit to the tank.
- Assist with rigging the house and generator for crane lift, requiring knowledge or willingness to learn hand signals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years' experience in Mechanical Integration or similar work.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints.
- Experience driving a forklift.
- Familiarity with welding and plumbing.
- Good math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
- Effective time management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Must wear PPE, including protective eyewear and hearing protection.
- Have reliable attendance, be respectful, and responsible at work.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
