Aircraft Parts Management Specialist

Overview:
Deliver essential aircraft components support on a 24/7 basis for aircraft that are not operational for Atlas Air and under contract with Polar Air Cargo.
As a vital team member, you will source and procure parts for aircraft on ground, critical situations, and other specific requisition types managed by the AOG desk.
Responsibilities:
Provide immediate solutions for all aircraft material requisitions, including but not limited to Aircraft On Ground (AOG), line maintenance, flight spares kit (FSK) replenishment, non-routine scheduled maintenance, action plans, and other requests as needed.
Conduct thorough research on inventory listings and respond to parts requests to identify effective and quality components.
Ensure all requisitions are processed within a 4-hour timeframe.
Complete all transactions in TRAX for loans, borrows, and other AOG-related functions.
Update aircraft maintenance deferrals with accurate and relevant information related to the technical supply chain.
Monitor and plan for critical parts, including grounding items, low inventory levels, and deferred maintenance needs.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and line stations to ensure timely and accurate handling of parts/material requests.
Understand and uphold contractual obligations in vendor agreements.
Responsible for conducting invoice reviews and obtaining necessary purchasing approvals.
Review aircraft listings and general guidelines for managed aircraft.
Foster an environment that promotes communication and collaboration, escalating important information or concerns promptly.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager or Director as required.
Qualifications:
A BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, business, or a related technical field is required.
2+ years of experience in purchasing or inventory planning is required, including at least 1 year of AOG experience within the airline industry or military equivalent preferred. Experience in the airline or military aviation sector is advantageous.
Special Demands:
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and at off-site locations on a temporary or permanent basis as dictated by business needs.
Skills:
Demonstrated integrity, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning systems is required; experience with TRAX is preferred.

Salary Range:
$51,500 - $69,000
Financial offers within this range will be determined based on various factors, including location, relevant experience, and skill set.
