Job Title: Project Manager

About the Role:
Qorvo, a leading provider of innovative semiconductor solutions, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure alignment with business unit goals and customer needs.
  • Drive the execution of programs and work closely with Product Line Managers to meet schedules and remain in budget while exceeding customer expectations.
  • Plan and track prototype material and builds for new product development.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, change requests, and report on status, blockers, critical path, risk mitigation, and impacts to the project plan.
  • Lead cross-functional team meetings, facilitate communication and execution, and work with managers to address bottlenecks and resource balancing issues.
  • Collaborate with functional managers to address issues and conflicts in the project.
  • Manage distributed project teams and efficient meeting management according to standards.
  • Analyze the impact of changes, bottlenecks, and issues encountered in the project.

Requirements:
  • Technical, Engineering Degree at the Bachelor's level is required; Master's and/or MBA desired.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in program/project management required.
  • Technical experience (e.g., design, product engineering, applications engineering, etc.) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to coordinate discussions and action plans with internal engineering, operations, and business unit teams required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Jira, and SAP systems.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive internal suppliers and customers and cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Experience in semiconductors or RF communication components industry.
  • Understanding of Lean concepts or Six Sigma is desired.
