Position Overview:
This role is tasked with the planning, coordination, and execution of staff development and orientation programs for all personnel. The Coordinator is responsible for maintaining both clinical and administrative excellence, developing and implementing clinical competencies, and observing clinical practices to create individualized performance improvement plans. Participation in Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance Programs is also required. The position may involve supervising subordinate staff and operates under the general guidance of the Health Center Director, Director of Patient Services, or Director of Nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain individual clinical and administrative excellence.
- Design and implement orientation programs for new hires.
- Lead or assist in Nurse Aide training classes as directed.
- Assess the competence of new staff upon completion of their orientation.
- Develop and deliver group educational programs.
- Review clinical documentation and conduct both announced and unannounced supervisory visits to ensure compliance with practice standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee quality assurance activities, including audits and committee participation.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with at least one year of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse, including six months in staff development, education, or supervision; or an Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing with eighteen months of experience, including six months in a similar capacity.
- Current Train the Trainer Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in long-term care settings.

Compensation:
$80,000 to $90,000 annually.
