Career Opportunity for Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

The Norman Regional Health System seeks a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. This role involves preparing and maintaining equipment, providing patient care, and ensuring a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.

We are committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes while fostering a collaborative work environment with cardiologists and leadership. Our ideal candidate will have relevant certifications, such as RCIS, and complete required competencies and training within the first six months of employment.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for procedures, providing individualized care and attention to their needs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use during procedures.
  • Sterile Environment: Establish and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
  • Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program in Radiologic Technology with eligibility for certification.
  • Experience: One year of experience working in a Cath Lab or Procedural Area preferred.
