We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Frontend Engineer to join our team at Galileo Financial Technologies. As a key member of our Money product architecture transformation, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our banking core and implementing enhanced account structures, including readiness for new products like CDs.
As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will work closely with stakeholders to implement functionality, architect our systems, squash bugs, and continually grow as an engineer. You will be responsible for developing testable and accessible web applications, working with designers to identify and solve potential implementation issues, and generating, enhancing, and promoting ideas for useful new projects and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work on React-based web applications with a cross-functional team
* Develop testable and accessible web applications
* Work with designers to identify and solve potential implementation issues
* Generate, enhance, and promote ideas for useful new projects and technologies
* Deliver and operate highly available and scalable services in a production environment
* Communicate with project leads, product managers, and other software developers on multiple projects
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical field, but we understand great engineers come from a variety of different backgrounds and also consider relevant work experience
* Experience with modern JavaScript libraries, tooling, and frameworks
* Strong knowledge of front-end technologies
* Familiarity with responsive design/development and mobile-web best practices
* Solid understanding of software design and architecture
* Experience in unit, functional, and end-to-end testing
What We Offer
* Competitive base pay range: $153,600 — $264,000 USD
* Bonus and/or long-term incentives
