Opportunity for a Clinician-Educator in Surgical Oncology

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinician-Educator to join our team in the Division of Surgical Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Provide surgical oncology services in Northwestern Medicine's downtown Chicago locations
  • Take call, round, and care for pre-op and post-op patients in concert with the clinical team
  • Respond to local consultation requests and referrals on a daily basis
  • Participate in the growth and coordination of care and other distinctive programming throughout the Northwestern cancer program
Requirements
  • Strong background in clinical surgical oncology
  • Preference for candidates with experience in complex gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and hepatobiliary surgery, including experience with HIPEC
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited complex surgical oncology fellowship program
  • Board certification or eligibility in complex general surgical oncology
