Insurance Follow-up Specialist

Vaco Staffing is seeking a skilled professional to fill a contract-to-hire role as an Insurance Follow-up Specialist. This position offers a unique blend of on-site training and remote work, with opportunities for flexible scheduling and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtain any missing information as needed.
  • Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing.
  • Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframes.
  • Verify insurance payments for accuracy and compliance with contract discounts.
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding discrepancies in payments, as necessary.
