Job Summary:

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team in Canon City, CO. As a Pharmacist at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and services to our customers. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on medication use, and providing clinical services such as immunizations and disease state management.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions
• Provide clinical services such as immunizations and disease state management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies

Requirements:

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
• Current pharmacist licensure in the state of Colorado
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
