Position Summary:

As a BAS/BMS Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning of BAS/BMS and DDC controls in critical environments such as data centers. This role necessitates a willingness to travel extensively to client locations across the country.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct start-up procedures, system diagnostics, and commissioning of building automation systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on BAS/BMS systems.
  • Ensure systems are functioning efficiently and effectively in critical facilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation (BAS/BMS) or HVAC controls.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% to various client sites.
  • Familiarity with BAS systems such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or similar.
  • Experience with DDC controls.
  • Background in critical facilities, particularly data centers.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Tridium Niagara.
  • HVAC controls programming skills.
  • Commissioning experience.
  • Knowledge of Schneider PME or Johnson Controls Metasys.
  • Experience with EPMS.
