Mammography Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH). As a Mammography Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality breast imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mammography procedures, including mammography, ultrasound, wire localizations, ductograms, cyst aspiration, and core biopsies.
- Operate and maintain various types of x-ray and related equipment and supplies.
- Provide radiation protection and follow prescribed safety standards.
- Assist physicians in administering contrast media and perform first aid when necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality control tests and maintain accurate records.
- Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid Massachusetts license as a Radiologic Technologist in the category of Radiography.
- Valid Massachusetts license in the category of Mammography.
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- 2-3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
