Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare, a leading provider of pediatric home health care, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to deliver high-quality patient care in the comfort of patients' homes. Job Summary:

The LVN will provide skilled nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and documenting quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
  • Documenting all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
  • Participating in and updating the nursing care plan.
  • Providing care utilizing infection control measures that protect both staff and patients according to OSHA standards.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • A current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
  • One (1) year of experience working under a current nursing license.

Preferred Qualifications:

We welcome candidates with:

  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires:

  • The ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • The ability to travel.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • The ability to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.

You will work in a variety of environments, which may involve exposure to allergens and other conditions.
