Grant Management and Development Coordinator

SALARY: $61,839- $76,211 DOQ

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is responsible for overseeing the grant application process and managing the financial components of grants for the City of St Marys, ensuring adherence to established accounting standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor grant schedules, submissions, and required deliverables; generate progress and financial documentation.
  • Ensure timely submission of grant proposals to federal, state, or local entities.
  • Craft grant proposals in accordance with specified guidelines.
  • Identify and pursue grant opportunities that align with the objectives of the City.
  • Collaborate with department heads to secure funding through grants.
  • Evaluate and adjust program objectives and financial plans as necessary.
  • Process invoices for grant reimbursements and maintain financial compliance.
  • Keep an updated record of grant opportunities and past funding awards.
  • Present grant-related information to city leadership.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in grant writing and administration.
  • Proficient understanding of grant management, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks, plan effectively, and meet deadlines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Primarily office-based responsibilities.
  • Occasional lifting of light to moderate objects may be necessary.

This position plays a crucial role in managing grant applications and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to secure funding for the City of St Marys' initiatives and services.
