About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Horizon Services, Inc. as a Health Technician III in our Sobering Center. In this critical role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals struggling with substance use challenges and co-occurring conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform health screenings and monitor vital signs for all potential clients
  • Assess clients' needs for sobering and provide appropriate care
  • Maintain accurate records of client medication and treatment
  • Collaborate with medical and mental health providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Respond to crisis situations and emergencies in a timely and effective manner
Requirements
  • Licensed Vocation Nurse in the State of California
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of alcohol and drug addiction and mental health diagnosis
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and handle emergency situations
