Optical Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Expert to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As a Licensed Optician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing expert advice on eyewear selection.

• Customer Service: Provide unparalleled customer service by executing our CEE Service Model through Connect, Explore, and Exceed.
• Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise, including current store assortment and inventory management systems.
• Sales and Service: Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their lifestyle, prescription, and price needs, while suggesting improvements and recommending solutions to problems.
• Leadership: Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing expertise and guidance to colleagues, and celebrating the LensCrafters Advantages at dispense.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements, while operating the Point of Sale terminal with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure: State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician.
• Experience: Optical dispensing experience, with knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Skills: Strong communication and listening skills, awareness of current fashion trends, sales skills, and comfort with technology.

• Actively Studying: Actively studying LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program.
• Previous Experience: Previous customer service and retail experience.
