The selected candidate will oversee Hykal Homes LLC's thriving Client Renovation division, managing the complete project lifecycle from sales through design to execution. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client sales meetings and showcase Hykal Homes LLC's design offerings.
  • Schedule, monitor, and finalize sales meetings.
  • Achieve and surpass quarterly sales targets.
  • Manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of interior design projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects align with client requirements, budget limitations, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Approve design specifications and create justifications for material purchases.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all facets of a design project, including planning, organizing schedules, assisting with construction documentation, client interaction, material sourcing, and devising creative solutions to challenges.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing clients; expand the business through referrals and direct marketing efforts.
  • Develop processes that can be utilized and refined from one project to the next (e.g., procurement, communication, change orders, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the Hykal Homes LLC Logistics Team to ensure timely delivery of construction materials to job sites.
  • Create renovation budgets based on project scope; monitor expenses and provide weekly updates.
  • Learn and utilize BuilderTrend, project management software for managing schedules, tasks, vendor relations, and client communications.
  • Oversee vendors and suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Act as the quality assurance representative, ensuring that projects meet the high standards set by Hykal Homes LLC.
  • Gather insights and knowledge from the design industry through research and attendance at trade shows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in interior design and/or the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, InDesign, or similar tools.
  • Physical demands of the job may require lifting heavy materials.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
