Role: Non-CDL Bus Driver
Employment Type: Full Time or Part Time
The York County Transportation Program is in search of a capable individual to provide transportation services for the general public, including Demand Response and Flex Routes. This role involves assisting all passengers, particularly those utilizing mobility devices, during boarding and disembarking from the vehicle.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial driving is required.
- Experience in route transportation or delivery is preferred.
- Must maintain a clean driving record and demonstrate strong defensive driving skills.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate records of passengers and vehicle metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating courtesy and respect towards clients.
Compliance with Federal drug and alcohol testing regulations, as well as all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as mandated by the US Department of Transportation, is essential. Candidates must successfully pass a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening.
Training will be provided as necessary.
