Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to medical and surgical patients, including joint replacements, spine, and bariatric surgeries
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in unit-based council to promote a supportive and team-oriented work environment
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
- Diploma in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- 1 year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
- Texas RN license - upon hire required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required
