Job Summary

We are looking for a full-time Nutrition Care Manager to oversee our Nutrition Team within a senior living environment in Des Moines, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver medical nutrition therapy, including screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, evaluation, and resident care planning.
  • Consult with the dining department on resident care and meal service, conducting meal rounds in accordance with company protocols.
  • Assist in menu planning, ensuring nutritional standards, regulatory compliance, and alignment with resident preferences and wellness initiatives.
  • Supervise and train the dining service team throughout the entire service cycle.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards from federal, state, and accrediting agencies, maintaining confidentiality and resident rights.
  • Engage in resident satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Programs.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
  • State Dietetics Licensing Board licensure where applicable is required.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in senior living.
  • Desirable: Supervisory experience and ServSafe certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
