The Beverage Service Specialist is responsible for delivering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to residents and their guests in a friendly, appealing, and timely manner. Additional responsibilities may include waiting tables and performing various tasks as needed.

Flexible days and hours, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare mixed drinks upon request to satisfy resident preferences promptly.

• Stock necessary items for beverage preparation, including juices, sodas, liquors, fruits, and garnishes.

• Conduct weekly inventory of beverage supplies to facilitate ordering.

• Transport alcoholic beverages from suppliers to replenish stock.

• Maintain cleanliness in the lounge area on a daily basis.

• Provide exceptional customer service with a positive and friendly demeanor, demonstrating strong listening skills.

• Communicate effectively and clearly with customers.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for up to six hours at a time.

• Capable of lifting 25 lbs. without assistance; 26+ lbs. with manual or mechanical aid.

• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching required.

• Occasional use of a ladder.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiarity with mixed alcoholic beverages.

• General knowledge of various alcoholic drinks.

• Ability to identify intoxicated individuals.

• Must be at least 21 years old with no felony convictions.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Previous experience working with older adults.

• Background in customer service roles.

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum of one year of bartending experience.

Desired Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Certification as a Mixologist.

• Three to five years of bartending experience.
