Solar Product Manufacturing Line Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Product Manufacturing Line Specialist to join our team at Q-Cells. As an Intelligence System Engineer II, you will play a critical role in developing and operating solutions and automation/material control interfaces in our Solar product manufacturing line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and operate solutions and automation/material control interfaces in our Solar product manufacturing line.
  • Analyze and design equipment process and recipe parameters.
  • Manage and distribute equipment interface standard communication specifications.
  • Design and implement production equipment operation scenarios and EAP operations.
  • Analyze automation/main process facility machinery and specification sheets.
  • Design transportation logic for materials/subsidiary materials, product/semi-finished products.
  • Manage buffers for logistics automation such as Stocker and Stacker.
  • Design data interfaces toward higher systems such as RMS/SPC/YMS/FDC.
  • Write and analyze specifications based on standards such as SEMI E30/E37/E87/E10/E82/E88.
  • Develop and manage data communication.
  • Respond and troubleshoot automation issues related to production, process, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of prior experience in the development and operation of solutions and automation interfaces.
  • Experience in the development and operation of automation in high-tech industries such as Solar and semiconductors.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the development and operation of automation or MCS packages.
  • Intermediate or higher skills in C# and Java development.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in writing data communications specifications related to SECS/GEM or PLC.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in using TIBCO Rendezvous or EAI.
  • Strong organization aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated reliability with excellent time-management skills.
  • Works well under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Development and operational experience with automated solutions.
  • High understanding of SECS/GEM standards and development experience in PLC driver communication.
