About the Role

As a Department Manager at H&M Group, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth. You will be the key point of contact for your department, ensuring that all visual and commercial aspects of the store are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth
  • Ensure that all visual and commercial aspects of the store are maintained to the highest standards
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of store operations
  • Provide coaching and feedback to sales associates to improve performance and achieve sales goals
  • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed and maintained
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of retail management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc.) for a short distance
  • Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
  • Open availability including evenings and weekends
  • Basic computer skills such as browser navigation, software interaction, and data entry
