At Y Combinator, we're committed to helping founders start the next big thing. To achieve this, we need a talented Product Engineer to join our team and help us build internal tools that make our operations more efficient.

We're looking for someone who can design and build new features from scratch, work closely with our Partners to build productivity software, and analyze usage and engagement to inform our product roadmap.

Our team is small and collaborative, with a broad range of experiences from bigger companies like Meta and Google. We enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where we can ship fast and talk to our customers regularly.

As a Product Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building event software to creating engagement tools that help us keep in touch with companies after they've gone through our program.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about front-end software development and has a strong desire to learn and grow with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build new features from scratch
  • Work closely with our Partners to build productivity software
  • Analyze usage and engagement to inform our product roadmap
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize new projects

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong understanding of front-end software development
  • Experience with React and Rails
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Location:

This is an in-person role at YC's campus in downtown San Francisco. You must live in the SF Bay Area or be willing to relocate.
