Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients. Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor patient safety during procedures and report any abnormalities or concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of images and documents to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and other designated spaces.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
