Job Summary

Children's Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for facilitating lifelong learning and professional development activities among clinical staff. Your primary goal will be to deliver high-quality educational programs that promote the growth and development of our clinical personnel.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, coordinate, and manage onboarding and orientation programs for clinical personnel, including transition-to-practice programs for novice or new graduate clinicians.
* Design, implement, and evaluate educational activities and programs based on identified practice gaps for a specific target audience.
* Identify and develop strategies to facilitate a continuous process of growth through lifelong learning, including role transition, role integration, skill acquisition, and skill mastery.
* Integrate the best research evidence into didactic and clinical education design, promoting and participating in research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives in the clinical setting.

Requirements

* At least 3 years of related clinical and/or nursing experience required.
* Documentation of previous teaching experience preferred.
* Four-year Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
* Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; TX State licensure in Nursing required.
* Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.
