We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will have expertise in EEG and single unit analysis, signal processing, and collection of electrophysiological data in TBI models.
Key Responsibilities- Design, carry out, and analyze complex electrophysiological experiments in the area of cognition, Post Traumatic Epilepsy (PTE), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Work with the Principal Investigator on experimental design and analysis, as well as preparation of grants and manuscripts
- Develop independence in experimental design and analysis, and preparation of grants and manuscripts
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- 5 years of experience in the field
- Expertise in EEG and single unit analysis, signal processing, and collection of electrophysiological data in TBI models
