Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Children's Health (Dallas). As a Surgical Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical department.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with a passion for operating room nursing to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a registered nurse in a hospital operating room and be able to provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment: Responsible for assessing patients' conditions and developing individualized plans of care to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Education and Support: Provides education and support to patients and families to promote informed decision-making and empowerment.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
