Job Title: Nurse Specialist

The United Surgical Partners International is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the post-surgical unit.

About the Job:
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, based on experience. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k matching, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
* Provide direct patient care within scope of RN practice act and according to hospital policies and procedures.
* Assess patient's psychosocial, educational and physical needs, as well as the ability to address these needs in an age appropriate manner.
* Develop and prioritize plan of care to attain measurable goals.
* Identify educational needs, implement and evaluate learning and documents patient/family education.

Requirements:
* Current Texas Nursing License
* Current CPR and ACLS certification
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* At least 1-2 years experience as an RN in hospital MedSurg/Telemetry, Critical Care, Emergency or ICU Departments
* Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
