We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our team at Venesco LLC. Based on the industry standards and location, the estimated annual salary for this position is around $150,000.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems engineering with experience in Windows and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier-2 or Tier-3 level O&M support for on-premises and cloud-based Windows and Linux environments of similar scope and size.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals with a proven track record of success.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience providing O&M support for Windows and Linux environments.
  • 2 years of experience leading a team of IT professionals.
  • 2 years of experience understanding networking technologies and their applications in an IT environment.
  • 2 years of experience applying INFOSEC principles to an IT environment.
  • 2 years of experience participating in software development lifecycle activities.
  • 2 years of experience using ITIL framework principles in an IT environment.

  • 15 years of experience providing O&M support for Windows and Linux environments.

  • 1 year of experience building Strategic Roadmaps.
  • 1 year of experience architecting an enterprise Windows environment.
  • 1 year of experience working with a Linux environment.
