Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Knowledge: Learn the Jimmy John's menu 100% to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Delivery Excellence: Check all deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality, and deliver products to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Customer Service: Take orders from customers over the phone and at the register, collecting payment and making changes as needed.
  • Food Preparation: Make accurate and fast sandwiches, and comply with all standard portion sizes and recipes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure vehicle is clean to carry deliveries, with enough gas prior to starting the shift.
  • Store Support: Assist with after lunch/dinner cleaning, as well as weekly cleaning tasks.

Requirements:

  • Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards customers and colleagues.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Reliable Transportation: Have a working reliable vehicle and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and have insurance on the vehicle intended to be used for delivery.
  • Math Skills: Possess basic math skills, able to add and subtract without the use of a calculator.
  • Physical Ability: Be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
