Maintenance Trades Helper Job Description

At PRIDE Industries, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Trades Helper to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist skilled trades workers in performing various tasks and duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist skilled trades workers in performing maintenance tasks, including cleaning and preparing work areas, lifting and holding materials, and performing unskilled tasks as directed.
  • Supply and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Perform specialized machine operations as needed.
  • Assist with material management and tracking, ensuring accurate records and efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • 0-1 year of work experience in construction or maintenance, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to read and use measurements.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and fill-in during absences.
Work Environment:

Work is performed at a customer's location in office, shop, warehouse, or outdoor environment. May require driving to and from worksite locations. Employees may be exposed to hazardous and/or toxic substances, electrical shock, noise from equipment, and depending on external weather conditions, wind, rain, cold, and heat.
