Job Summary

As a Correctional Dentist at UTMB Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care services to the offender population within a correctional facility. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our Correctional Managed Care operation, adhering to internal controls and reporting structures established by our department.

About the Role
  • You will work under the supervision of the Cluster Dental Director, exercising independent judgment in performing general direct dental care services.
  • Your duties may include providing dental services on multiple facilities, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Texas.
  • Current registration of license to practice dentistry in the state of Texas.
  • Current DEA controlled substance registration certificate.
  • Current BLS-HP certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years minimum general clinical practice preferred.
