Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Medical Nurse Specialist to join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Alice. As a Medical Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provides routine and complex care to patients in various settings
- Develops and implements individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Collaborates with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and services
- Educates patients and families on healthy habits and disease prevention
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient records
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty
- RN License in state of employment or compact
- Current certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
