About the Role

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Birthday Party Host. As a key member of our youth program team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences for children and families at our Cecil Pruett Community Center YMCA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute engaging birthday parties and special events for children and families.
  • Lead activities and ensure the safety and well-being of participants.
  • Assist with setup and cleanup of event spaces.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all participants.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age and have experience working with youth in a structured setting.
  • Complete all required trainings prior to start, including CPR certification within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Exemplify YMCA ideals, character values, leadership qualities, and excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise and interact with children and adults in a professional and caring way.
  • Strong customer service skills and personal commitment to service and hospitality.
