Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at NuHire, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Install and maintain stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans.
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
- Adjust and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
- Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or setup of machineries.
- Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations.
- Sharpen and maintain machine tools.
- Participate in the PM program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines.
- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machineries.
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
- Maintain a clean and environmentally safe work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment.
- Experience using PLC's is an asset.
- Experience of Mig and Stick welding.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
