We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing clinical education and support to our nursing team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical education programs for nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education.
- Assess the learning needs of nursing staff and develop targeted educational programs to meet those needs.
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring and coaching.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nursing practice.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and best practices in nursing, and apply that knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year of experience in a clinical education or staff development role.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia.
- Professional certification in nursing education or a related field is preferred.
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Experience in a leadership role, such as a nurse manager or director of nursing education.
- Membership in professional organizations, such as the Association for Nursing Professional Development.
