We are seeking a highly qualified Radiologic Technology Instructor to join our team at American Career College. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of Radiologic Technologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction to students in radiologic technology, utilizing effective teaching methods and staying current with industry developments.
  • Course Development: Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date course materials, including lesson plans and assessments.
  • Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students, including advising, tutoring, and maintaining accurate attendance and grade records.
  • Professional Development: Participate in faculty meetings, professional growth activities, and in-service training sessions to stay current in the field.
  • College Involvement: Engage in college activities, such as in-services, faculty meetings, student functions, and advisory board meetings.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of occupational experience in radiologic technology or a closely related field, with two years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.
  • Education: A baccalaureate degree and current certification in radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certifications: Current CRT permit (State of California certification) and current CPR card.
